Talent Development Volunteer Facilitation

Talent Development periodically provides facilitation to groups from the local community. These facilitations typically involve off-campus work and some time commitment. We do this specifically to provide outreach and community engagement. It’s a way to give back, practice the necessary skills and help the off campus entity. The Talent Development Volunteer Facilitator Program is an initiative to identify, train and support on and off campus colleagues and subject matter experts who partner with us to facilitate dynamic and meaningful learning experiences for JMU’s AP Faculty, Classified staff, and Wage employees. Volunteer Facilitators are vital contributors to the Talent Development Department as we provide over 11,000 contact hours of professional development each year. This would not be possible without the generous contributions of time and talents provided by over 130 Volunteer Facilitators
