Gives her recollections of the mountain people and describes in detail her family\u27s experience resettling in Wolftown, Virginia, after the opening of Shenandoah National Park. Mrs. Taylor\u27s family soon relocated to Stanardsville, where she attended high school in the late 1930s. Describes the uneasy social interactions between the local population and the sudden influx of rural mountain people into their community.
