In this thesis, the greenhouse gas emissions from the extraction of raw material to construction of planned buildings, roads and tramways in Uppsala are studied. The study is part of the work with Roadmap 2050 for a carbon dioxide neutral Uppsala until year 2050 that the Municipality is developing. The goal of the Municipality is to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions to less than 500 kg CO2-eqv per capita and year, compared to in 2011 just over 7 000 kg CO2-eqv per capita and year.
