<div><h3>Background</h3><p>Using <em>in vivo</em> mouse models, the mechanisms of CD4<sup>+</sup> T cell help have been intensively investigated. However, a mechanistic analysis of human CD4<sup>+</sup> T cell help is largely lacking.
