Proteins identified by 2D-DIGE and MS showing sustained expression levels in omental and subcutaneous adipose tissues.

<p>Protein extracts from subcutaneous and omental adipose tissue paired samples were analyzed by 2D-DIGE <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0030326#pone.0030326-PerezPerez1" target="_blank">[10]</a>. Proteins were revealed by AgNO₃ staining and based on DeCyder analysis the spots of interest were excised from the gel and subject to MS-based identification.
