Effects of Gis1 and Rph1 on extracellular metabolite concentrations.

<p>The concentrations of glucose, ethanol, acetate and glycerol at different time points in culture supernatants from the four strains (wild type, <i>gis1</i>, <i>rph1</i> and <i>gis1 rph1</i>). The concentrations were determined using HPLC as described in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0031577#s4" target="_blank">Materials and Methods</a>. The error bars show the standard deviations of three independent replicates.
