<p>For each assemblage the species were ranked by occurrence (number of grid cells occupied by the species). The most the five most important species was defined as the five most frequently occurring, if more than five species had the same high occurrence, these were ranked according to their abundance. For the five most important species in each assemblage, the species-specific percentages of the total number of individuals caught and total catch in kg, together with the average number of individuals (n ind./nm) and biomass (kg/nm) (standardised catch per nautical mile towed) is provided.
