Neutrophils total number is increased in inflamed larvae.

<p>(A) To determine the total number of neutrophils a flow cytometry analysis was done. Three representative SSC v/s GFP graphics are showed. Cells from wild-type larvae were used to set the lowest level of GFP expression. (B) A significant increase in the number of total neutrophils is induced after 72 hrs of exposure to oxytetracycline. (C) Transcription levels of interleukin 1β (<i>il-1β</i>), interleukin 10 (<i>il-10</i>), mielloperoxidase (<i>mpx</i>), Lysozime C (<i>lysc</i>) and the cytochrome p450 1a (<i>cyp1a</i>) were quantified by qPCR. Transcript data were normalized to <i>β-actin1</i> and to the corresponding control. * p<0.05.
