Functional families for genes whose transcription or splicing is affected by TCR alone or TCR/CD28.

<p>Biological processes, as defined by Gene Ontology, were counted if at least 10 genes comprising that process were present and were clustered in four groups: transcription or splicing in T cells activated through TCR alone or through TCR and CD28. The biological processes that were unique to each of the four conditions are indicated by the green boxes, and are listed in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0040032#pone.0040032.s008" target="_blank">Tables S5</a> and <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0040032#pone.0040032.s009" target="_blank">S6</a>. If biological processes were statistically enriched compared to the whole genome, color indicates adjusted <i>p</i> values of enrichment <0.05 (shades of red), <i>p</i>>0.05 (grey).
