<p>rLvIntegrin labeled below was incubated with DAPI-stained <i>E. coli</i> JM109 (A) in Ca²⁺ buffer, (B) in the co-existence of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ and Mn²⁺ buffer, (C) in buffer only without added divalent-cation; <i>L. anguillarum</i> (D) in Ca²⁺ buffer, (E) in the co-existence of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ and Mn²⁺ buffer, (F) in buffer only without added divalent-cation; <i>M. luteus</i> (G) in Ca²⁺ buffer, (H) in the co-existence of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ and Mn²⁺ buffer, (I) in buffer only without added divalent-cation; <i>C. dattila dattila</i> (J) in Ca²⁺ buffer, (K) in the co-existence of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ and Mn²⁺ buffer, (L) in buffer only without added divalent-cation. The concentrations of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ and Mn²⁺ are 1 mmol L⁻¹, 5 mmol L⁻¹ and 0.4 mmol L⁻¹ respectively.
