<p>We considered microbial associations in a total of 5,026 samples from the Human Microbiome Project (HMP) comprising 18 body sites in 239 individuals recruited at two clinical centers (Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX and Washington University at St. Louis, MO), which in total contained 726 reliably detectable bacterial phylotypes.
