<p>As an example to illustrate the concept of RPPA, the results of four arrays probed with antibodies against HSP27 and its phosphorylated forms (Ser78, Ser82, Ser15) are shown. Tumour samples on the arrays which were not included in the study are marked with an “x”. Additionally, Western blots for these four antibodies are shown, to demonstrate their reliability. These images are shown for clarification; the signals must not be compared directly, as they are not normalised to the total protein content of the sample.</p
