Opposing effects of p38 and ERK1/2 on BMP9-induced new bone formation in calvarial organ culture.

<p>(<b>A</b>) Mouse calvariae was infected with Ad-BMP9, and then treated with SB203580 (25 µM) and PD98059 (10 µM). At 4 days post infection, calvariae was placed into fresh media and return to incubator for another 3 day until day 7. The amount of original bone remaining and new bone was assessed by H&E staining.
