<p>Immunohistochemistry of eight proteins involved in the four major functionalities of the ciliary body. For the progenitor cell properties, we stained FGFR3 and NOTCH1. For the neural background, we stained ROBO1 and GRIN2C. We chose EDNRB and MNAR for the endocrine signaling function, and SERPING1 and TLR3 as examples for the immunological functions. Red staining is the secondary antibody with Cy3 that binds to the specific primary antibody, indicated in the figures. Blue staining is Dapi which stains the cell nucleus.
