Human cells display lower caspase-3/7 activity than chimpanzee cells after treatment with staurosporine.

<p>Histograms display the mean of three independent biological replicates ± SD for each species. Chimpanzee cells (S006007) displayed significantly higher caspase-3/7 activity than human cells (AG13153) at 100 nM of staurosporine (Student's t-test, p = 0.023) and at 300 nM of staurosporine (Student's t-test, p = 0.011).
