<p>Representative raw recordings obtained from one orexin-ataxin3 transgenic mouse at ambient temperature of 30°C during wakefulness (W), non-rapid-eye-movement sleep (NREMS) and rapid-eye-movement sleep (REMS). BP, blood pressure; EEG, electroencephalogram; EMG, nuchal muscle electromyogram; ACT, activity. W was scored when the EMG tone was high and the EEG was at low voltage with possible δ (0.5–4 Hz) and θ (6–9 Hz) frequency components. NREMS was scored when the EMG tone was lower than in W and the EEG was at higher voltage with prominent δ frequency components.
