<div><h3>Background and Aims</h3><p>The Glutathione S<em>-</em>transferase P1 (<em>GSTP1</em>) polymorphism have been considered a risk modifier for developing head and neck cancer (HNC) in many studies; however, the results of such studies are inconsistent.
