<p>Only haplotypes with frequency greater than 2% in any population are shown. Data were downloaded from the Hapmap web site (<a href="http://hapmap.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/" target="_blank">http://hapmap.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/</a>) and haplotypes inferred using the ARLEQUIN program. Only the reference polymorphisms that were shared by all the population groups examined were used to generate the haplotypes. Population description is as in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0049498#pone-0049498-t003" target="_blank">Table 3</a>.
