New multinary selenides Ae<sub>3</sub>SnPn<sub>2</sub>Se<sub>8</sub> (Ae = Sr, Ba; Pn = Sb, Bi), Sr<sub>8.01</sub>Ge<sub>2.04</sub>Bi<sub>7.95</sub>Se<sub>24</sub>, and Sr<sub>8</sub>YGe<sub>2</sub>Bi<sub>7</sub>Se<sub>24</sub> were synthesized by solid-state reaction, and their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. These compounds crystallize in orthorhombic space group <i>Pnma</i> (no. 62) for Ae<sub>3</sub>SnPn<sub>2</sub>Se<sub>8</sub> (Ae = Sr, Ba; Pn = Sb, Bi) and in <i>Pna</i>2<sub>1</sub> (no. 33) for Sr<sub>8.01</sub>Ge<sub>2.04</sub>Bi<sub>7.95</sub>Se<sub>24</sub> and Sr<sub>8</sub>YGe<sub>2</sub>Bi<sub>7</sub>Se<sub>24</sub>.
