<p><i>Fusobacterium</i> abundance was evaluated in DNA samples from normal colon and tumor tissue by qPCR using <i>Fusobacterium-</i>specific primers. Results suggest that <i>Fusobacterium</i> is increased in colon cancer tissue compared to normal tissue (t-test p = 0.0005).</p
