<p>Seeds were sowed out on selection plates containing kanamycin for Salk lines or sulfadiazine for Gabi lines. The plants were grown in long day condition for 3 weeks.</p>1<p>Paternal backcrossing was performed with the insertion mutant as pollen donor. For maternal backcrossing flowers of mutant lines were fertilized with wild type pollen. For each heterozygous insertion line 10–30 flowers were backcrossed. The term selfing describes flowers that were self pollinated.</p
