Modulation of genes implicated in various cellular functions by TSA treatment.

<p> (<b>A</b>) Total RNA was derived from splenocytes of diabetic and cured mice as indicated in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0055074#pone-0055074-g004" target="_blank">Figure 4</a> & <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0055074#pone-0055074-g005" target="_blank">5</a>, and used for analyzing the expression of anti-oxidant genes and additional genes by qRT-PCR. (<b>B</b>) Total RNA derived from pancreata was probed similarly for the expression of indicated genes. (<b>C</b>) Splenic T lymphocytes from diabetic and cured mice were stimulated with immobilized anti-CD3, RNA extracted and analyzed for <i>Mif</i> expression. Steady state level expression of <i>Mif</i> was also analyzed in pancreata by qRT-PCR. Fold-increase in <i>Mif</i> gene expression is indicated.
