Expression of Gas6 in mesangial cells cultured with GO-LDL and glomeruli from diabetic rats.

<p>(a) Cells were treated with GO-LDL (50 or 100 µg/ml) or N-LDL (50 or 100 µg/ml) for 24 h. Western blot data show the significantly increased Gas6 expression in MMCs. Expression of Gas6 protein in the glomeruli of normal and diabetic rats was analysed by Western blotting (b) and immunostaining (c). All data are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M.
