β-galactosidase activities of transformed strains with various pRS recombinants.

<p>ATCC 15151 and ABmut02 cells transformed with various pRS recombinants were grown in LB medium at 37°C overnight. The measurement of β-galactosidase activity was repeated at least three times, and the mean values of one representative experiment performed in triplicate are reported (error bars indicate the standard deviation). The measurement of β-galactosidase activity represents for the activity driven by either <i>P</i>ade of <i>adeABC</i> operon or <i>P</i>in of IS<i>Aba1</i>.
