<p>To induce colitis, six week old WT (n = 24) and MCH-KO (n = 32) mice, both of the APCmin background, were treated with 2% DSS in their drinking water for 7 days. At 11 weeks of age, mice were evaluated for colonic tumor development. (A) Changes in body weight over time in mice treated with DSS are expressed as % of their body weight at 6 weeks of age.
