Effect of 9-CRA, ATRA and MB on growth of Cx-null and Cx32-expressing LNCaP cells.

<p>LNCaP-P, LNCaP-N and LNCaP-32 cells were seeded in 6-cm dishes in replicate (5×10⁴ cells/dish) and treated with 9-CRA (0.5 µM), ATRA (0.5 µM), and MB (1 nM) either alone or in combination. Cells were grown for 11 days with a medium change at day 4 and 7. Cell growth was determined as in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0032846#pone-0032846-t003" target="_blank">Table 3</a>. The values represent Mean number of cells per dish×10⁵±SE of the Mean. Values in the parentheses represent Means of % Growth ± SE of the Mean.
