Anti-metastasis activity of WKYMVm, 5-FU, and mDCs.

<p>(A) Balb/c mice were inoculated with CT-26 cells and treated with WKYMVm, 5-FU, and mDCs according to the protocol in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0030522#pone-0030522-g001" target="_blank">Fig. 1A</a>. CD8 T cells or NK cells were depleted by injecting 100 µg of anti-CD8 or anti-asialoGM1 antibody i.p. into Balb/c mice. On day 42, mice were sacrificed and tumor nodules on the surface of the lungs were observed. (B) CT-26 cells (2×10⁵ cells in 100 µl of PBS) were injected into the tail vein of Balb/c mice. After 14 days, mice were sacrificed and hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed using the isolated lungs.
