<p>(A) Representative waveforms of the rod ERG recorded from WT (black) and P2X7-KO mice (grey) in response to a 2.1 log cd.s/m<sup>2</sup> intensity flash. The photoreceptor derived, rod PIII (modelled a-wave) was not altered in either (B) amplitude or (C) sensitivity in the P2X7-KO mouse when compared with the WT response. The post-photoreceptor, rod PII (modelled b-wave) was found to be (D) larger in amplitude and (E) faster to reach a maximum response.
