<p>Western blot analyses were performed on lysates from liver samples with antibodies that recognize p21 (A). Relative amount of p21 expression was calculated from semi-quantitative analysis of the Western blots using densitometry (B). p21 mRNA expression was measured by qPCR (C). Histo-immunochemical analysis of p21 expression was performed on tissue samples: p21 expression was observed in infiltrating lymphocytes (lesion) and fibroblast-like cells (lesion) but also in hepatic cells (close to lesion) in the liver from <i>E. multilocularis</i> infected mice (<i>arrow</i>) (D).
