<p>The intrathecally synthesized anti-tau IgG antibodies were significantly higher in the MS group as a whole than those in the controls (p<0.0001). There were significant differences in intrathecal synthesis of anti-tau antibodies between CIS, RR-rMS, RR-aMS or SP forms of MS and the control group (CIS vs. controls: p<0.01; RR-rMS vs. controls: p<0.005; RR-aMS vs. controls: p<0.05; SPMS vs. controls: p<0.005).
