The influence of the IL-17 SNP on IL-17 secretion by <i>in vitro</i> stimulated PBMCs.

<p>(A) PBMCs from healthy individuals were stimulated for 48 hours in the presence of PHA or in 48 well plates coated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 mAbs. The values are expressed as the means +/− SD. (B) PBMCs from healthy donors (197A allele positive, n = 12 and 197A allele negative, n = 10) were cultured for 24 hrs in the presence of PHA. Total RNA was extracted, and the IL-17 mRNA levels were determined by quantitative RT-PCR and normalized to GAPDH.
