a<p>The discovery Caucasian population and African American population consisted of asthmatic children from the GCPCR and non-asthmatic/non-allergic controls from the GCPCR and GCC. Associations between asthmatics and controls were tested using an additive model. Odds ratios (OR) were determined using logistic regression based on the minor allele after adjusting for age, gender and population stratification.
