ABT-263 has no apoptotic toxicity to normal human hepatocytes.

<p><b>A.</b> Freshly prepared normal human hepatocytes were grown in 6-well plates. After two days later, cells were treated with various conditions as indicated. Apoptosis were assessed through Western blotting to detect activation of caspase 3 with specific antibody. Cell lysates from hepatoblastoma cells (HB01) treated with a combination of ABT-263 (1 µM) and YM-155 (1 µM) for up to 6 h were set up as a positive control. β-actin was detected and served as an equal protein loading control.
