<p>Measurements of isotopic Zn species by ICP-MS are reported as the ratio of <sup>70</sup>Zn/<sup>68</sup>Zn (no dimensions) means ± SD, *p<0.05 compared to control measurements. <b>Protocol A</b>. Measurements in tissues harvested from rabbits: three control (black columns) and in three rabbits 18 hrs after intravenous infusion of <sup>70</sup>ZnCl<sub>2</sub> (250 µg/kg). <b>Protocol B</b>. Measurements performed in aliquots of gastric glands exposed to standard Ringer's containing EGTA, Ca<sup>2+</sup> (calculated free concentration 1 mM) and reagent ZnCl<sub>2</sub> (control) or <sup>70</sup>ZnCl<sub>2</sub> (calculated free concentrations 1 nM, 10 nM or 100 nM).</p
