<p>Liver samples from 7 (B1–B7) ARQ/ARQ BSE-challenged ewes and 15 negative control sheep (neg ctrl) were analysed for the presence of PrP<sup>Sc</sup> using (a) the IDEXX Herdchek assay (b) the Bio-Rad TeSeE ELISA and (c) the Bio-Rad TeSeE sheep and goat Western blot. Values are shown as the mean and standard deviations (n = 4). The cut-off points of the assays are shown (dotted line). M = molecular mass markers (kDa).
