<p>Images are from homozygous <i>av6J/av6J</i> (A–C), <i>av3J/av3J</i> (D–F), <i>v2J/v2J</i> (G–I) mice and a heterozygous <i>+/av3J</i> control (J–L) mouse. Mild to moderate disruption of the hair bundles was observed in the cochlea of <i>av6J/av6J</i> mice (A–C). Severe damage to all regions was observed in both the <i>av3J/av3J</i> (D–F) and the <i>v2J/v2J</i> (G–I) mutants. Scale bar = 10 µm.</p
