<p>(A) The number of differentially expressed genes are the result of a comparison of gene expression in the lungs of SARS-CoV infected cynomolgus macaques versus gene expression in the lungs of mock-infected animals, and genes were included if they met the criteria of an absolute change of ≥2-fold (P≤0.05. (B) The Venn diagram shows the overlap of unique and common genes with ≥2-fold (P≤0.01) between Urbani, GZ02 and HC/SZ/61/03. Functional annotations (C) and canonical pathways (D) were determined in order to better understand the biological functions associated with SARS-CoV infection in cynomolgus macaques.</p
