<p>A to D: Confluent 3T3-L1 cells were treated with 100 µM BSO. After 2 days cells were induced to differentiate. BSO treatment was renewed with every change of medium. Whole cell lysate was collected at the indicated time points and analyzed for protein expression of p21, p27, phosphorylated Rb, E2F1, cyclin A, MCM7, and GAPDH. E and F: 3T3-L1 cells were treated as described in A. mRNA was harvested at induction of differentiation and at day 1 of differentiation. MCM7 and cyclin A2 expression was analyzed by real-time RT-PCR. All results are presented as mean ± SEM (* p<0.05 vs. control, # p<0.05 vs. baseline).</p
