Effects of TP-10 treatment on the density of NIIs in the striatum of R6/2 mice.

<p>Representative photomicrographs of DAB immunohistochemistry for EM48 (black), which labels neuronal intranuclear inclusions containing aggregated mutant huntingtin (NIIs) in the striatum of a (<b>A</b>) wild type, (<b>B</b>) vehicle treated R6/2, or (<b>C</b>) R6/2 mouse treated with TP10 from 4 to 13 weeks of age. There were no NIIs detected in striatum of wild type mice, so this group was not included in the statistical analysis. A t-test indicated that the density of NIIs in striatum of R6/2 mice treated with TP-10 was lower than that in R6/2 mice treated with vehicle (p<0.0001).
