Bag for Silk Stockings

Rectangular bag made from plasticised fabric, marbled to resemble leather which envelopes in three sections, secured by two bright blue press-studs. Embossed (gold lettering) 'Silk Stockings' to front. Inside lined with cream watered silk and has elasticated pockets across the width of two sections; the third section forms the envelope flap. - from the The Betty Smithers Design Collection at Staffordshire University.
