Caissons

This video forms part of the module Civil Engineering Technology from the 2009/10 BSc (Hons) degree programme Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying. It covers the four main types of caissons: box caissons, open caissons, compressed air caisson, and monoliths as well as related structures and construction methods. This open educational resource was released through the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre Open Engineering Resources Pilot project. The project was funded by HEFCE and the JISC/HE Academy UKOER programme.
