Highway drainage

This video forms part of the module Civil Engineering Technology from the 2009/10 BSc (Hons) degree programme Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying. It covers an introduction into drainage systems including sub-soil drainage systems; Gullies, self cleansing velocities and manholes; Drainage trench collapses and trench support systems. This open educational resource was released through the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre Open Engineering Resources Pilot project. The project was funded by HEFCE and the JISC/HE Academy UKOER programme.
