Twenty one phytoplankton samples containing chrysophytes were collected in July 2009 and August 2011 in Daxinganling Mountains and Wudalianchi Lake Regions located in Northeast China. Forty two species and two varieties of silica-scaled chrysophytes have been identified by means of transmission electron microscopy, nine of them belonging to Paraphysomonadaceae and thirty-five to Synurales. Chrysosphaerella longispina, Spiniferomonas abei, Paraphysomonas eiffelii, Mallomonas maculata, M. lelymene, M. pumilio, M. eoa, M. torquata, Tesselaria lapponica, Synura bjoerkii are reported for the first time in China.
