Thesis‘ purpose – to investigate noise effect on rats’ physiological functions. Noise in the outside environment can change rats’ motor functions, behaviour, blood body count, reduce weight by 1,91% and food consumption by 12,76%, increase the need of water by 9,32% (p<0,05). In noisy environment blood glucose increased by 20,83%, erythrocyte count – by 2,22%, total protein count by 3,14% (p<0,05), albumin count by 2,42% (p<0,05), globulin – by 7,46%, but A/B ratio did not change a lot, although total leukocyte count was decreased by 18,83%. There was established a lower number of pups born in the rats’ nest, there were some cases of cannibalism.
