<p>The maximum conductance of the h-type current and the mean of the input current (-700 pA) were reduced with the same factor <i>f</i> in the bursting regime. This resulted in a reduction of both the burst rate and the number of spikes per burst, as can be seen from the example traces in A and the event frequencies in B.
