<p>#ICanHazPDF are used by scholars and others to request copies of scientific articles from other Twitter users. This is an interesting phenomenon as scholars are typically bypassing paywalls to request articles otherwise unavailable to them. This work examines 3,931 tweets collected from the Twitter stream API and 10,901 tweets collected by Altmetric.com containing some variation of the hashtag. Documents requested are examined based on level of access, tweet discussions using this hashtag, and characteristics of tweets using hashtag.</p><p> </p
