Increasing graduate unemployment is a concern throughout labor markets and societies. According to the World Bank (2014), 11.57% of the total population in East Asia and the Pacific region aged between 15 to 24 years old are unemployed. Similarly, in Thailand there are many educated graduates who are unable to find jobs within their chosen field of study. Two of the major factors contributing to this unemployment are Thailand’s 4.0 digital National Economic and Social Development Plan (2017) which is leading to the automation of jobs using artificial intelligence and robotics, and Thailand’s education system.
