The NAL's all composite, light trainer aircraft NALLA2, the prototype, has been designed and analysed using FEM package NASTRAN, GENLAM a layer analysis package and strength of materials approach. The design has been validated with structural tests on wing, fuselage and tail. The\ud analysis exercise has proved the airworthiness of the\ud structural components
