The unsteady viscous incompressible flow around a circular cylinder is studied numerically for moderate t o higher Reynolds number range by solving the two dimensional Navier-Stokes equation in stream function-vorticity formulation. The stream function eauation is solved by an AD1 technique while the vorticity transport equation is solved by third order up winding scheme.
