Results are presented here tor viscous transonic flow over13; aerofoils to demonstrate the capabilities of a code based on transonic full potential equation in a system of Cartesian coordinates. For this purpose a code based on Carlson's scheme utilizing Cartesian coordinates has been written incorporating many improvements apart from incidentally enhancing its computational efficiency. Thus, the improvements in the numerical implementation of the surface boundary condition renners the code robust, resulting in an enhanced domain in which accurate results can be obtained from the code.
